RI Authors Showcase Starts Tomorrow!

November is always a busy month - for all of us, right? The days grow shorter, the frenzy increases (holidays, exams, shopping, winter) - but here on the blog we are celebrating! Celebrating local authors each day in November, with a giveaway and a chance to discover a new book and author. It's a lot of fun, so I hope you'll check in here throughout the month.

I've been hosting this feature for several years now, and it's a great mix of perennial favorites along with some new writers. We've got mystery and thrillers, romance, sci-fi, and children's books, plus plenty more. You can learn a little about the featured author, see what they're giving away, and by leaving a comment on the post or answering a simple question, you're in the running!

I'll use a random number generator to choose a winner from everyone who leaves a comment on the blog post. The winner will be picked one week after the post is published, to give you plenty of time to catch up. Then, I'll send you and the author an email to let you know you've won, and the author will coordinate delivery directly with you. Be sure to let them know whether you want a digital book or a print copy, and if you want it signed, let them know. Signed books are wonderful!

One week after the last post, on December 7, I'll draw for the three bigger prizes from all of the comments (yep, I use an Excel spreadsheet and enter names all month long). The Grand Prize is a $250 Amazon gift card, the Bonus Prize is a $100 Amazon gift card, and the "Cheer Up You Won Something" Prize is a $50 Amazon gift card. Just in time for holiday shopping!
