Some movie scenes are so unforgettable. One of my favorite movies (and books!) is The Color Purple. Here’s the scene:
Still gives me goosebumps!
Sometimes our brains are so overloaded with data, and dates, and “stuff” that has to be done (yesterday!), that there’s hardly any room left for listening. Or for paying attention to those signs. But the signs are there.
For those I know – and those I don’t know – who are in the middle of chaos and uncertainty, I understand. I hear what you say. And while I may not have the answers, someone else does. Be still and listen.
Martha, I’m listening. Someday, perhaps we’ll meet beyond those Pearly Gates. Debbie, Maryellen, and my wife will be there too. We can all go ice skating together and enjoy some hot chocolate. No troubles, no worries, just joy and peace forever more.
May God bless you!

Lottie, this movie! Yes, early Oprah and Whoopi, but it’s so good. Thanks for reading and commenting, and a very happy Mother’s Day to you! xxx

Can I “like” this 40,000 times? GREAT post and beautiful message which I will share with my sweet, good hearted, yet troubled daughter first thing in the morning. Thank you, Martha.
