I hope you’ll join me in the 2013 April A to Z Blogging Challenge! I participated for the first time last year, and had a blast. The calendar above shows you how it works. You can sign up here, choose your theme (or not), and start blogging on April 1st!
Last year my theme was pretty broad. It included novelists, essayists, poets, and lyricists (because I wanted to include certain people). It’s important to do some planning, especially if you’re like me. I’m hoping to publish my second novel by the end of this month, just so I have a little time to spend on the Challenge.
This year my theme is called “Oh! The Places I’ve Been!” I’ve plotted out my places, for the most part. I’ve scanned in my own photos – because one important thing I’ve learned since last year is that it’s always better to use your own photos (or your friends’, with proper credit and permission) than to risk what author and blogger Roni Loren found out about using pictures on a blog.
So, get ready! And feel free to make your own guesses about what each letter will bring (sorry, no prizes on this one).
Hi Martha,
I’m stopping by to introduce myself and wish you luck with the A-Z Blog Challenge. I’ll be exploring CHANGE and SENSORY AWARENESS and how to implement these concepts in storytelling. This is in preparation of my creative writing guide (title and publication date TBA soon), which will offer a more comprehensive discussion on character transformation in relation to plot development. My husband and I are keen travelers, so I look forward to your posts – good luck; and I look forward to our ongoing connection.

Hello. Just thought I’d stop by and give you a wave *wave* and wish you luck for this challenge. It’s the first time that I’ve done anything like this so I’m getting excited now. I just need to find something for Z. Why is that letter so awkward?!
